When I was just a kid, we used to do some pretty stupid things out of boredom. However, we could only get into so much trouble living in the suburbs of Maryland.

Its a good thing we were never as resourceful as the folks in this video. This could have gone horribly wrong, especially since she's pointed straight at a huge hillside. Nonetheless, its hilarious to watch!

My officemate Grace has spent the past 25 years of her speaking life mispronouncing (and misspelling) the word "longitudinal." Earlier today, when she told me that she needed "longtitudinal data," I let it slide the first time, thinking that maybe she simply misspoke. When she said it again, I burst out laughing!!! She was so convinced that it was "long-titudinal" that she made me look it up in both Webster's and Oxford's dictionary... apparently, she trusts English English more than American English. To her dismay, I was of course correct.

Thats when she pointed out to me that for years, I've misspelled Segue... prounounced "Seg-way" as in "thats a great "seg-way" to the next topic. WHO KNEW IT WASN'T SPELLED "SEGUEWAY??? SERIOUSLY?

This is honestly, one of the most bizzarre videos I've ever seen... and I love the fact that its accompanied by the Top Gun theme song... very appropriate. It sounds like they're speaking in Portuguese but there is no context to the video so I have no idea where they are. Apparently, these fish respond to the sound of the motor boat by jumping out of the water.

Does this sound familiar?

I saw this on Dan's blog so I had to try it for myself. I'm glad to see that I was at least 73% Hot back in the day. I had always assumed I was only 25% Hot and 75% Geek/Nerd. If only I had taken this quiz in High School... it would have saved me from years of insecurity! Then again, the ghetto crowd at my high school wasn't very kEwL, considering that most of their parents were ambassadors, doctors or lawyers.
